The company i am going to be looking at is the 'Hammer House Production.' This is a company which is mostly to do with creating gothic horror/thriller films. 

The Hammer Film Production is a film production company based in the United Kingdom, it was founded in 1934, the company is best known for a series of Gothic  films made from the mid-1950s until the 1970s. Hammer also produced science fiction, thrillers, and comedies and in its later years. During its most successful years, Hammer dominated the horror film market, enjoying worldwide distribution and considerable financial success.

Some Examples Of Films:

The Hammer House production is mostly known for the films such as:

- Dracula

- The Mummy

- Frankenstein

- The Reptile

- The Man Who Cheated Death

- Blood From The Mummy's Tomb

- The Black Widow

- The Brides Of Dracula

- Creatures The World Forgot

- The Curse Of The Werewolf

There are so many different films which have been made but all of them have been based on a Gothic storyline.

Where Is It Based:

The company is currently based in the United Kingdom and has been since it first began in the early 1930's. This means that the company has made a good name for themselves and that they are quite popular in the movie/film worlds. 

Who Owns The Production: 

It has been owned by the same people since it began, it is founded by 'Zach Hammer', another key person in the buissness is 'Simon Oakes'. But the parent of the product is 'Exclusive Media Group'. 

Other Genres: 

'Hammer House Productions' has done other film genres such as 'Science Fiction' and 'Comedies'. But they are mostly recognised for their gothic storylines. And after years of producing amazing gothic films i don't think they should change there ways. 

My Opinion: 

What i think about the Hammer House Productions is that they produce amazing and scary films, but they do produce some funny films too. The reason why i think that this buissness would produce, distribute and market our opening to a thriller, is because they create horror films. Also because they have been going for such a long time they have a good word against there name. And if people know that they are backing up another film then more people are likely to buy our finished thriller.
