'Psycho' Thriller. 20/09/11

When you look at this film, more inportantly the death scene. It is not very realistic and thats the one thing a film should be. And because of this i didn't enjoy watching this film.

There are some good things about the film that i did enjoy, it was the camera shots. i enjoyed seeing just how a movie is placed together and what it take to make a movie.. well a movie. When i watched this scene i could begin to tell which shots are which and where the camera would be placed. And when i'm watching films at home i'm beginning to notice the camera shots there too, i dont know yet whether this is a good thing or a bad thing because if i get better at noticing the shots i might not be able to watch a film again in peace.W

Because we thought the remake of the movie was not the best we watched the original, which was dated in the 1960's. We found this one better because it didn't look like it was planned at all, for example when the girl enters the shower in the old one she seems more content, and in the new one she seems on edge like she knows something is going to happen.

Also the screams are non-digetic which means that they were placed over the top of the movie, and because of this they don't sound real. In the original the screams are a lot more realistic and this makes it seem like she is really dieing.
